Mother's Day

I love to celebrate mothers. I was blessed with an incredible mother and I have grown to appreciate her so much more now that I am a mother myself.  Here are some of the items that I have created this year to celebrate Mother's Day. Weddings Galore!

I have two siblings getting married this summer so all things wedding have been on my mind. I have created a couple of bridal shower invitations that I am using for various showers this spring but they are also available in my store. I will be adding more because I am full of ideas right now!

A New Project

Here is what I have been working on lately. The template I used is a free one from Paislee Press and  I got the idea from Tatertots and Jello (they had tons of great ideas for using photos in your home). I will be displaying these around my house in frames that I got from Ikea for $17.99. So it will cost about $20 for each one. That is not too bad.  I think it will be a great way to display my favorite photos from each year (in addition to my scrapbooks of course). Decorating with photos is my favorite thing!

I altered the template a little for this one. I wanted less pictures and this worked out well.

My Valentines

Here are the valentines that  I and my little daughter will be giving out this year. I have a few more things I will be putting together for friends and I will post them when I get them all made.


This is the valentine that I am sending to the Grandma's and other family members.

 

We also decided to send valentines to her cousins this year. They are all far away but we had a fun time creating something for them to get in the mail. We attached little flip flop key chains to the tag. the flip flops were available at oriental trading and Amazon but the cheapest ones I found were at Walmart for $2.50 plus .97 shipping.

This is a page I made for a summer 2011 book that I am working on for my mom's birthday coming up in March. This page was made using the Pool Party kit from Just So Scrappy. 

This is an invitation that I made for a bridal shower for my soon to be Sister in Law. It was made from the Secret Recipe kit that I got from the Gotta Pixel retiring kits sale. I will probably post the invite for sale in my Etsy store soon.
